Miranda’s favorite haunt is Detroit’s Whitney, which is alleged to be one of the most haunted places in the city. I’m not quite sure if Miranda is actually a ghost, or just super goth, but she certainly fits right in with the posh Victorian attitude of the mansion.
Miranda is a one of a kind, customized Blythe art doll by me, Sandra Coe for Motor City Dolly. She is my 78th custom Blythe. Her base doll is a super pale translucent factory Blythe on a white Licca body. Like all Neo Blythes, she has eyes that change when her cord is pulled. She is 11 1/2 inches tall.
I have done the following work on her:
-Face and back plate have been sand matted.
-Lips, nose, and philtrum have been carved.
-Gaze has been lifted and eyes boggled, and new eyelashes applied.
-She has all new airbrushed makeup applied with high quality pastels and acrylics and sealed with multiple coats of Mr Super Clear Flat UV Cut. She has a small tattoo of bats on the back of her head that continues onto her upper back, and which has also been sealed. I had fun with filters on a few of the photos to accent the ghostly vibe, but all of her close ups show only her true, unfiltered colors.
Miranda has a wild white curly fro of long, rooted natural Wensleydale fiber hair on a new scalp, painstakingly sewn in plug by plug. She has sleep eyes with custom pull charms. Her eye mechanism works smoothly. She has four new pairs of eye chips; three hand painted by me in purple, blue, and deep purple with bats, as well as one pair metallic moon chips by Hello Monsieur Wolf. She will come with her gorgeous vintage style dress by Dolly Jane, as well as white Takara boots.
Miranda will travel securely packed in her own custom sleeping bag, which is lined in the softest flannel to protect her face. She’ll be further wrapped in lots of bubble wrap and sent in a sturdy box via Priority mail with signature confirmation.
